SNDT University which is a women's university exclusively for women, has its premises in Mumbai, India. Stemming from 1916, it is primarily serving undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate students solely female. SNDT develops space that promotes women's autonomy and their overall mobilization.
Fashion designing and Clinical Psychology are the two most important academic features of these programs - B.Sc and M.A. To provide complete knowledge in Fashion Designing, the curriculum includes critical areas like garment construction, Indian traditional textiles, fashion illustration and history of world costumes. Students have the chance to get experience within the industry at open internships. M.A. in Clinical Psychology makes students study how to do psychotherapy, assessment and counseling.
Exams in the winter semester are held in October – November 2023, while those in the summer semester take place in March – April 2024.
