The Netaji Subhas University of Technology is an autonomous engineering university renowned as the best private university in India situated in New Delhi. The college earlier known as the Delhi College of Engineering had been renamed to Subhash Chandra Bose College to honour the famous freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose, in 2002. NSUT has been given the coveted tag of Institute of National Importance by the Government of India only. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate level courses and engineering, technology, management and applied science among different fields of study.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology Eligibility Criteria 2024

1. NSUT is the 4 year University in mechanical, electrical, aerospace or chemical engineering under the B. Tech course. The requirement for BTech program candidates is to have passed their Class 12th or equivalent with 60% being the minimum in relevant streams i.e. science and commerce.
2. The least educational qualification criterion of SC/ST/PWD students with 55% aggregate marks in class 12 is 55% aggregate marks in class 12.
3. Both aspirants and students should clear JEE Main, to meet the cut-off/rank for the programs and the set standard by NSUT.
4. There is no age limit for admissions of UG students as well.
5. With regards to the graduate programs, the candidates having M Tech degree must have their Bachelor of Technology/ Engineering degree with an aggregate of minimum 60% (55% for reserved) and in the relevant specialization. This is a mandatory requirement.
6. GATE eligibility is compulsory to pursue MTech for all the course seats. Preferably MTech aspirants must have the corresponding prior work experience.
7. An MBA course proposes 50% in aggregate marks for graduation along with any discipline to candidates with at least degree. Moreover, the valid CAT/MAT scores are the admission requirement.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) in the past was referred to as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) is the best engineering university in Delhi offering a combination of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and technology, applied sciences, and management.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology Admission Process 2024

1. The admission process followed by JEE (Main) rank for BTech programs is merit-based. Students can apply for National Service Scheme in the website of NSUT after JEE Main results are released.
2. All the admission for undergraduate courses like BBA, BCom and CAA is solely based on the board merit of 12th grade. The university has a specific admission test for some of these programs.
3. MTech programs offer admissions based on gate, which is a post graduate entrance exam. NSUT candidates will have a separate application procedure along with GATE score card.
4. Instead of the MBA entrance exam, the NSU has replaced it with its internal assessment for the master programs. Selection process consists of admittance tests and academic records, which define the point score for the candidates.
5. In addition to the interviews and group discussions, the candidates must pass through this phase before they are granted admission.
6. The council assigned seats in the way as per Delhi government rules that 85% is Delhi’s quota and 15% is for people who are not Delhi citizens.
