Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is one of the most prestigious and technical university of India, situated in New Delhi. 1983, Delhi College of Engineering was established. After 35years, in 2018 it was upgraded to the state larger university and was renamed after Indian freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology Eligibility Criteria 2024

1. The NSUT offers 4-year BTech courses in different branch of engineering. To be qualified, students must have passed higher (or its equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects.
2. Besides that, there is the minimum aggregate percentage requirement which varies according to the categories. In the general listing, the candidates require a minimum score of 60% in physics, chemistry and mathematics as well as an overall aggregate of 60%.
3. For the OBC/SC/ST category, the minimum marks in PCM is 55% and the overall throughout the examination is 55%. Differently abled applicants will be allotted 5% less marks for the qualifying score.
4. Furthermore, the candidates should also obtain qualifying scores in JEE Main or other national/state level entrance exams required for NSUT admission. Entrance depends on the JEE Main rank and counseling.
5. Bachelors degree holders in relevant specialization from an accredited technical institutes or universities can join master programs like MTech. The aspiring candidates must ensure the creation of good GATE scores.
6. No age restriction exists for applying for UG/PG admissions. And students who have a gap after 12th class can also apply as well.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology Admission Process 2024

1. In NSUT, the students are offered 4-year B.Tech degrees in different engineering disciplines like Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, and Mechanical. At the same time, it offers M.Tech, MBA, and Ph. D. programs.
2. NSUT demands students for B.Tech program to take JEE Main followed by achieving the cutoff/ranks specified by NSUT. Subsequently, the qualified candidates should attend the counselling program based on their JEE Main scores to claim the seats.
3. There are certain admissibility criteria for the application - the candidates need to have passed Class 12 or equivalent from the recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects. They also have to fulfill the cut-off marks requirements.
4. Besides JEE Mains results, we, at NSUT, also consider Class 12th marks to draw up our merit lists. NSUT has higher cut-offs for its Computer Science/Electronics engineering branches.
5. Students pursuing post-graduation in M.Tech/MBA will have to take exams like GATE/CMAT/CAT. Final selection is made after the counseling rounds.
6. Seat allocation also happens under various quotas including home state quota, All India quota, defence, persons with disabilities, etc. There are also seats reserved for female candidates across degree programs.
