Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University Eligibility Criteria 2024

1. BPharm: Passed +2 with Physics and Chemistry as core subjects and one from Mathematics/Biology. A minimum of 45% of aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/PH) in qualifying exams.
2. MPharm: BPharm degree with minimum marks of 55% (50% for SC/ST/PH) from a recognized university/institute. GPAT pass-outs will be given priority.
3. PharmD: The Physics and Chemistry subjects will compulsory along with other Mathematics/Biology subject. Minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/PH candidates).
4. PhD: MPharm/PharmD degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PH). The candidates should possess the GPAT/NET score. Two years of research/teaching experience is preferable.
5. Diploma courses: 10+2 passed with minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/PH candidates). Some diploma programs may require some work experience.

Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University Admission Process 2024

1. The admission is in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses like BPharm, MPharm, PharmD, PhD, etc.
2. For B Pharm, admissions are the function of the merit of ranks obtained in NEET (UG) national level exam. The shortlisted candidates must attend the counselling for seat allotments.
3. Candidates applying for MPharm must obtain GPAT qualification and apply with valid GPAT scores. Shortlisting is on the basis of merit followed by the counseling process.
4. Both for PharmD and PhD programs, DPSRU has its own entrance exam. The ones who excel in that test are called for an interview or counseling sessions before admission.
5. The university provides applications and prospectus for all courses, offline and online. The applicants fill in all details and academic scores in the application.
6. In addition, there is a mode for direct lateral entry for diploma holders into second year of BPharm program on the basis of specific eligibility conditions.
7. Besides, there are general criteria for each program in the eligibility conditions on age, qualifying exam marks, domicile etc. Meeting the criteria is a must.
