For the PhD Programs in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Earth & Space Science, Physics, Mathematics, Chemical Sciences, Optical Engineering and Humanities, there is Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology or IIST Thiruvananthapuram. It is strictly examination based followed by an interview session.
