Sree Moolam Mahatma Gandhi (M.G) University is a public university situated at Kottayam, Kerala, India. The university, which is a state leader, was founded in 1983 and is able to link over 300 colleges in the state. MGU is the multi-faculty university offering a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of natural sciences, social sciences, languages, education, and commerce and management studies as well. The university has two different courses on its syllabus; MA English Literature and MSc Computer Science. There are papers on different approaches to reading including literary theory and criticism in the Indians, Americans as well as, British literature in the post graduate English MA program. The MSc Computer Science allows for concentrations in branching out into fields such as data analytics, cyber security and cloud computing. All majors in the university have the biannual written examinations in March and September, each year. For the 2024 admission, it will start to take admission applications in May 2023. First, the students who are going for the subject should achieve the university entrance exam or national/state tests like CAT/MAT/CMAT depending on the programs. The requisite minimum is a bachelor's degree of relevant discipline with the required percentage as designated by the university. The criteria for selection will be scholastic merit, class test scores while entrance and qualifying exams and interviews will also be considered for the process.
