Jawaharlal Nehru University Ph.D Selection Criteria

1. Admission in the PhD programs at JNU is done through the university-based entrance test. First, the candidates must sit for this test.
2. Candidates who have passed the entrance exam are the ones shortlisted for an interview. Interview tests research skills and domain expertise of the candidates.
3. Candidates with qualified UGC NET JRF or other equivalent examinations are considered to be higher ranked, compared to those without these qualifications.
