IIIT Bhagalpur 2024: Admission, Courses, Fees & Rankings

The Government of India has initiated an IIIT set up program by which 20 IIITs have been established. One of them is the Indian Institute of Information Technology in collaboration with Bhagalpur University. Crucially, it was founded in 2017, and it works to promote IT education and research. The institute has B.Tech and M.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering disciplines with focus on allowing companies to be involved and evolve.  Our flagship B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering degree not only covers the theory of computer science but also its application in real-life situations. The two-year M.Tech Computer Science course covering topics data science, intelligent systems, and networks and information security will provide the advanced knowledge and practical studies. The university will set the examination date for a B.Tech degree of admission for the second week of May in 2024. It will evaluate candidates against Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Reasoning & we are good at it. Commission boards will have the selected candidates undergo centralized counseling sessions to finally obtain the admissions they desire according to JEE Main exam scores, preferences and seat availability. The admission process is designed on merit basis, so that the brightest among the students can grab a chance to be a part of this institution.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Admission Process

- It's the competitions that are held at the national level that are the basis of admissions. 

JEE Main, JEE Advanced and state level exams are the main exams used for the aptitude test of BTech degree. 

The GATE score is taken into account in the case of MTech to be combined with the other exams like PGEE.

- Following the exams, ranking remains with the candidates having to apply separately to the specific 

IIITs that they would like to attend. 

IIITs announce their own cut-off lists and merit lists based upon the common entrance tests scores, 

12th board marks, branch options, and other important parameters.

- Seats are limited and admissions are too competitive with % age positions of entrance 

test and the cutoffs rising annually even for the general category students. 

IIITs also have their own testing and application process which they use for candidates whom they shortlist. 

- Like a CTII usually adhere to the central counseling system through CCMT and CCMN for 

BTech admissions where choices of seats in around of counseling is based on the candidate's position, choice and availability of seats.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Application Procedure

1. The primary source of admission to IIITs is through the centralized counseling of JoSAA respectively CSAB /Central Seat Allocation Board.

2. To be eligible for the Joint seat allocation a student must first register on the official JoSAA/CSAB website when registrations are open. This takes place traditionally in May-June.

3. There are required fields during the registration like providing your personal details, academic qualifications, program choices and so on. 

4. Reasoned on your JEE Main rank you can get access to certain Inter Indtu Nguity Technologies and programs. Make sure to highlight formats, you can get at your level of interest when you are advised by your rank.

5. Provide the documents that is required like grade 10/12 marks sheets, JEE Main score cards etc. which will be given according to guidelines. 

6. However, after registration ends, seats are going to be allocated during several rounds of the counseling system, which would use rank lists, choices and availability as parameters. 

7. After you get the seat alloted to you, payment of the admission fee is the next step now. The confirming of the seat should be done within the due period or else you will not get to keep the seat.

8. You should make it a point to go to the IIIT of your choice on the right time as per the academic calendar to accomplish the admission process finally.
