Vidyasagar University (VU) is located at Midnapore, West Bengal – an old university established in 1981 and is acknowledged by the University Grants Commission. The university provides doctorate degrees in all major fields of study in the Science, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences.
The procedure of the PhD admission for 2024 will start with the admission notification that is usually posted on the university’s website during the end of November or early December of the previous year. The positions will require minimum 55% marks or equivalent master’s degree for the candidates to qualify for the post. They will be required to complete an online form and attach copies of their eligibility documents, recent photograph, certified copies of academic transcripts, Aadhar card etc Applicants who will be selected will receive a call for written test and interview to be conducted by the respective departments.
