Netaji Subhas University is state University of Jharkhand India. It was established in the year 2016 and has grown in stature as one of the premier universities in eastern India in a short span of time. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India and it has been awarded B++ accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The recently released NIRF rankings 2023 have placed NSU in the 76th position among all universities in India. 

The university teaches and provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees in multiple fields through several schools and departments. There are so many courses offered in the various universities some of which are as follows: B.Tech, M.Tech, MBBS, BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, B.Pharm, M.Pharm. The university operates under the semester system, with examinations conducted at the end of each academic year. Admission is conducted in the month of May every year, for which students have to appear for state and/or national level entrance tests. In addition to this, there is a provision for direct admission depending on the class 12th percentage. For the academic year 2024, the latest date to apply for an undergraduate program is 30th June 2023.  

Netaji Subhas University has a rather good placement record keeping in mind that it has branches. Many reputed organizations like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HDFC Bank Ltd, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and SBI come to the college for campus placements. The maximum package as per its 2022 placement was recorded to be 18 LPA offered by American Express. The placement record of the college is excellent where more than eighty five percent of the students from all the branches like engineering, management sciences, pharmacy and computer application get placement by the end of their final year. The salary scale comes out to be average which means that the salary packages offered vary in between 4,00,000/- to 7,00,000/- per annum. There is a Training & Placement Cell in the university that ensures students are ready for recruitments and forging corporate relationships.

Netaji Subhas University also known as NSU Jharkhand is a state university located in Jamshedpur, which provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Science, Commerce, Arts, Education, Law, and other fields of engineering. 

Under Graduate programs offered by NSU include; Business & Technology, Education, Liberal Arts & Science, Computer Application and Information Technology, Law, Integrated programs and much more. In post graduate section uips offers MTech, MSc, MA, MCom, MCA, MEd, LLM etc. There are also other diploma and certification courses offered in the university. The highest degree offered is the doctorate in Philosophy (Ph.D.) across various fields.
