Eligibility:

Manipal Academy of Higher Education Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] Selection Criteria

- Entrance Exams: The eligible candidates need to appear for the engineering entrance test like MECT (Manipal Entrance Test), JEE Main etc. They get the admissions either on the basis of their ranks/scores in these tests.

- Class 12th Marks: Those who seek admission through MET, have to finish their class 12th with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their total aggregate. During reserved category students minimum aggregate is 45%.

- Candidates, who have qualified for JEE main Test, are admitted depending on the ranks in JEE main exam. Position cutoffs move from year to year and follow suites of the military branches.

- Some seats are occupied in accordance with the KCET rankings (i.e. Karnataka Common Entrance Test). Cut-offs are varied as per the stream or category.

- For the case of NRI/PIO/ Foreign / students, admissions are based on 10+2 marks. Compulsory 60% in aggregate for PCM subjects. Seats spared through SAT subject test scores also assess admission process.

- The students need to meet some of the criteria of its programs subject-wise (e.g. 10+2 etc.).
