The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), being seated in Nashik, Maharashtra, was established in 1998 under the Maharashtra Heath Sciences Act. It is the only body which is the sole authority to ensure that each medical, dental, nursing and paramedical school across the state is in the best position to serve the transitioning demographics of the state.
