Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Eligibility Criteria 2024

For undergraduate programs: For a candidate who fulfills 10+2 or similar qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects from a recognized board. Depending on the program the minimum aggregate required stands from 45-50%.

For BTech (Agricultural Engineering): For this purpose, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and at least 50% of the aggregate marks. 

For MSc programs: Those who aspire to become a part of the program require a bachelor's degree related to the programme with the minimum marks lying between 50-55 percent.

For MTech programs: The candidates have to be holders of BTech/BSc (Agriculture) degree with aggregate marks of 50-60% and the mark limit may vary for different specializations. Admission to some programs may necessitate you to clear some entrance tests.

For PhD: Only graduates with a relevant postgraduate degree (Msc or MTech) with not less than 55 % will be considered candidates. Candidates at the same time should take the exam (entrance) required by the university.
