The eligibility criteria for NEET are as follows:

  • Aspirants must have passed the 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
  • The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) separately and at least 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
  • The upper age limit for NEET is 25 years as on December 31 of the year of admission.

The NEET exam is a 750-mark exam that is divided into two sections:

  • Section I: Physics and Chemistry (180 questions)
  • Section II: Biology (570 questions)

The NEET exam is a computer-based test (CBT) that is conducted in two sessions. The first session is held in the morning and the second session is held in the afternoon.

The NEET results are declared by the NTA in the month of June. The qualified candidates are then invited for the AIIMS counselling process.
