Eligibility:

- Must have cleared 10+2 or more of an equivalent level with, at least, 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English in all three subjects. In general category you have to score 50% marks to qualify for college admissions.

- Age Limit- Should have reached 17 years by the date of taking admission or must be 17 years old of age on or before 31st December of his/her first year of joining MBBS course. Age restriction up to twenty five years.

- 12th pass/appearing certificate

- Domicile certificate

- Certificate (if you have any).

- PWD certificate (if applicable which would directly help me secure my desired job).

Admission Process:

- The MCC of centralized counseling is responsible for the allotment of seats, and applicants should qualify through the NEET UG entrance test.

- 15% AIQ seats filled by the centralized MCC body and remaining 85 % state quota seats filled up by respective states.

- Seat allotment will be done considering the given NEET ranks, the filled choices and available options in the college/university. 

MBBS applicants are required to enroll to both MCC and states where they would like to do medicine. The counselling procedure includes filling the choices, seat allotment together with reporting to the university after paying fees lastly. A schedule of the counselling is also released when the result of NEET is declared.

AIIMS Patna M.B.B.S. Selection Criteria

1. Entrance Exam: Students have to sit the AIIMS MBBS test, jointly organized by AIIMS New Delhi. Top lists only show the marks scored in the admissions examination.

2. Minimum Eligibility: The candidates should have passed class XII with minimum 60% marks in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology & English. The cut-offs of general category students have to be 50th percentile while the SC/ST/OBC category students must have at least 40th percentile in the admission test.

3. Counselling: Featured applicants will be going through the counselling form before undergoing the verification of their documents. Which allocates seats on the basis of personal preferences, ranking in merit list and availability of modality.

4. Reservation: As per govt laws, 15% of seats are for SC and 7.5% of seats are for ST candidates. According to govt rules, out of the 27% seats a quota of OBC candidates from the non-creamy layer is reserved.

5. Seat Distribution: For candidates to be able to contest for 50% of the seats in AIIMS Patna, they must be residents of Bihar state. Finally, the seats could be given to candidates from all parts of the country as well.

AIIMS Patna M.B.B.S. How To Apply?

1. Refer to the official website of AIIMS Patna (www.aiimspatna.org) to check for the application notification and find out what requirements you should meet.

2. When the app registration is open, turn to the exam portal and sign up. Fill in the application form that is needed.

3. Provide your login details after which form the AIIMS application form for MBBS course. Then fill the application form correctly. Please make sure you provide the correct information concerning your name, major, and contact details.

4. Upload the scans of other required documents like a photograph, signature, school boards 10th or 12th certificate, etc. as per specific directions. 

5. Go to the website and reach the application page. There you can pay using your credit/debit card or net banking or UPI. Save the payment receipt after payment.

6. Complete the form once you preview it then submit it before the closing date. Download it and save a version of it. Print two copies for further perusal, and one for my record.

7. After you log in find your admit card which can be downloaded using your login details. Make sure that you must have checked all the details, especially. 

8. Examinees should be present on  the specified time, date and location of the test  with their admit card and ID proof.

9. Visit the official web portal for the declared results. Final residue will be called for counseling and more admission tests.

10. Necessarily, come early in the counseling office by bringing all the attachments for verification. After making the decision about the school of your choice, accept the seat you have been assigned to complete the admission formalities.
