All India Institute of Medical Sciences Application Procedure

1. Eligibility:

   • Candidates must have passed the 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.
   • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the 12th standard examination.
   • Candidates must be Indian nationals.

2. Application:

   • Candidates must apply online through the AIIMS website. The application fee is INR 1,500 for general category candidates and INR 750 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
   • The application form must be filled in carefully and completely.
   • All required documents must be uploaded along with the application form.

3. NEET-UG:

   • Candidates must appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
   • The NEET-UG is a computer-based test (CBT) that consists of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
   • The NEET-UG is a qualifying exam for admission to AIIMS.

4. Merit list:

   • The AIIMS will prepare a merit list based on the NEET-UG scores of the candidates.
   • The top 1500 candidates on the merit list will be eligible for admission to AIIMS, Delhi.

5. Document verification:

   • The selected candidates will be required to appear for document verification at AIIMS, Delhi.
   • The documents that will be required for verification are:
     • 12th standard marksheet
     • NEET-UG admit card
     • NEET-UG scorecard
     • Caste certificate (if applicable)
     • Disability certificate (if applicable)

6. Admission:

   • The selected candidates will be admitted to AIIMS, Delhi.
   • The course commences in the month of July.
