MTech Food Process Engineering Admission 2024

1. Perform an undergraduate degree in food technology/engineering or related field; 60% marks should be the minimum requirement.

2. Attend GATE exam and produce a legit scorecard. (p.s. the scorecard is for getting admission to the postgraduate program) Some colleges even admittance by universities through the merit system.

3. Enlist colleges where there is MTech in Food Process Engineering of about specialization, fee and place etc. 

4. The college websites provide the time schedule for applications and you can file the online applications. The required documents have to be attached.

5. Securing the list, then attend the group discussion, interview etc.

6. Comply with the process of admission and providing the physical amounts as per the college norms. Send in your documents and enroll in the plan.

MTech Food Process Engineering Course Eligibility 2024

1. Graduate in Food Technology or Food Engineering with Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related engineering discipline. Also, you should have at least 60% marks equivalent.

2. Credentialing above the cut-off score set by the university AND ranking in the national/state level exams conducted by the university.

3. The sponsored candidates require the academic backgrounds: A Bachelor's degree that is relevant (i.e. having an experience of not less than 2 years). GATE eligibility score is removed. 

4. For Foreign Nationals/NRIs - Bachelors degree in specific field of choice with minimum 60% marks (aggregate). Being fluent in English by taking a proficiency test like TOEFL or IELTS is a necessity.

5. Some colleges and universities may do their own selection exams. Compatibly with such exams outcome and required degree percentage will be evaluated.

6. Specific institutes will first carry out an interview after which they will go on to final selection. Entrance test scores, academic performance, a work experience and performance at the interview will be taken into account.

Food Process Engineering Entrance Test (FPET): Evaluates candidate's knowledge of food science, engineering concepts, and problem-solving skills which are critical in the manufacturing and technology food domain.

Food Technology Aptitude Test (FTAT): The examination serves to evaluate students’ food chemistry, microbiology, engineering principles, and food processing skills, preparing adequately for the next level of study in food process engineering.
