Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is one of the self-governed public agricultural university, that is situated in the city of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, of India. Established in 1964, ANGRAU is one of most advanced institutes in India with specialization laid n teaching, research and extension activities in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, home science and allied sciences. Within the university, there are 7 agricultural institutions as a constituent and 2 polytechnics that act as an affiliate which offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Next two major courses at ANGRAU are BSc (Hons) Agriculture and MSc Agriculture. BSc Agriculture is a four-year program that is composed of subjects on crop production, plant breeding, soil science, agricultural extension, etc. the university does semester exams every year in December and May respectively. MSc (Agriculture) is a postgraduate degree program of 2 years length with different streams ranging from Agonomy to Soil Science to Horticulture to Plant Pathology, etc.
