A Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Journalism and Mass Communication is a 3-year undergraduate course containing journalism, media and communications as its fields of focus. The course consists of both theoretical knowledge and practical training in journalism. It includes subjects like, media laws and ethics, reporting, editing, radio journalism, TV journalism, journalism advertising, public relations, corporate communications, media management, communication research and more.
Students get access to a range of advanced skill units that involve research, media investigation, information gathering, writing, and digital editing of media content for print, broadcast, and digital media. The program offers the corresponding interdisciplinary courses in the humanities and social science too.
