ANIIMS (the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences) is the leading-level medical institute placed in Port Blair, the capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Established in 2018, ANIMERS was instituted in order to promote quality medical education and healthcare services thereon for the people inhabiting the islands. 1. Aspirants can enter Dental College via NEET, a national-level exam. Concerned candidates have to first pass the NEET screening to be qualified.
2. Apart from qualifying NEET, candidates have to register themselves in the counseling authority and participate in the NEET counseling program. There is a separate seat distribution for all the states and union territories on the basis of NEET ranks, preferences filled, reservations etc.
3. Following their selection at Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences, the candidates will have to register and complete the admission process by submitting the prerequisite documents along with the fees.
4. The documents generally required at the time of admission include: Admit card, NEET rank letter, class 10 and 12 mark sheets, category/PWD certificates If applicable, Transfer certificate, Migration certificate etc.
5. The fees section should be paid at the time of entry consist of tuition fee, hostel fee, security deposit etc. as per requirement. Before initiating the admission procedure, the college will clarify the charge schedule and mode of payment.
