Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), in turn, is a public university that conducts various research and education activities on health that are centered in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Beginning in 2005, RUHS is the sole authority for medical, nurse, and paramedical colleges settled across Rajasthan. The university will give uppermost consideration to the victory of quality health education and overcome the imbalance in the number of skilled healthcare personnel in the state. 

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) are the most important courses among the many courses imparted. The undergraduate MBBS is 5.5 year program vs. the BDS program is 5 year. The March - April months of each year are when our annual exams for these courses are conducted. 

For joining our college in-taking class of 2024, the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) will take placed in the first week of April 2023. Students shall be invited for the counseling session from May-July 2023 if their scores of NEET and eligibility criteria of RUHS are fulfilled, and seats will be offered in accordance with the counseling session. The signup for academic session will proceed in August 2024, after the admission process is ended. The fee which is required to be given for sitting the entrance examination of these programs held at RUHS is roughly around Rs. 2000. Aspirants must have cleared XIIth level with PCB as a core subject and secured marks in NEET as per prescribed criteria for the respective stipulated courses in the institutions.

Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Eligibility Criteria 2024

- For MBBS: To pass in the 12th grade now with minimum 50% marks in the subjects of physics, chemistry and biology. Qualify in NEET exam.

- For BDS: Pass in 12 grade and should score minimum 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology. Qualify in NEET exam. 

- For BAMS (Ayurveda): Pass 12th grade exam after completing at least 50% courses on physics, chemistry and biology. 

- For BHMS (Homoeopathy): Pass out 12th grade with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

- For B.Pharm: Get over 12th grade and have no lower than 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology/maths. 

- For Nursing courses: Gains admission in 12th grade with an aggregate score of 40% in physics, chemistry, biology and English. 

- For Paramedical courses: To proceed to higher level education, pass 12th grade with at least 40% marks in physics, chemistry and biology.

Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Admission Process 2024

- RUHS provides a wide range of medical and paramedical courses, in particular MBBS, BDS, BSC Nursing, Pharmacy etc. Applications are being processed by means of national/state level entrance tests.

- For MBBS - NEET is the entrance exam, while admission is based on the NEET score and then the 15% quota is allotted to candidates who secure their place based on merit through the counseling process.

- For BDS - NEET students chosen are required to go through counseling.

- Admission to BSC Nursing - would be on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam (10+2 having Biology, Physics, and Chemistry subjects). The applicants can also pass an entrance exam to be accepted into the program. 

- Regarding to Pharmacy - Selection of students is based on their merits in 10+2 or entrance exam taken by university.

- Such diploma courses - The admission is on the basis of marks in XII examination only.

- Among the many steps that students have to go through before securing a seat in medical college, are screening, document verification and processing before the formal notification is declared.

- The university, from time to time, releases notifications and information brochures that explain the course admission process clearly, eligibility criteria, and important dates etc before each admission session.
