Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research Application Procedure

1. Check Notification - PGIMER releases notifications regarding exam dates, number of seats, etc around December-January for July session entrance exam. Keep checking the official website.

2. Apply Online - Once notification is released, eligible candidates need to apply online on the official website by registering and filling the application form. Application fee needs to be paid online.

3. Entrance Test - Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an entrance exam typically held in June. It includes multiple choice questions from relevant subjects.

4. Result Declaration - Based on the entrance test performance, provisional merit list is released. Final merit list is prepared after verification of documents.

5. Counselling Process - Shortlisted candidates are called for the counselling process as per their merit rank. Here the choice filling and seat allotment takes place.

6. Admission & Joining - Finally selected candidates need to pay admission fee, submit required documents and join the allotted course before the last date.
