Eligibility:
- 12th grade/higher secondary passed with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology.
- Minimum age 17 years as on 31st December of year of admission.

Admission Process:
- Entrance exam conducted by PGIMER followed by counselling for shortlisted candidates
- The entrance exam tests subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Documents Required:
- 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
- Admit Card of entrance exam
- Category certificate (if applicable for relaxation in percentage)
- Four passport size photographs
- Valid ID proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card etc.)
Selection Criteria:
- Based on the entrance exam marks, normalized qualifying exam scores (12th or equivalent) and number of seats
- Separate merit lists prepared for each program
Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] Selection Criteria
• PGIMER admission process is on the basis of merit of candidates in the entrance exam conducted by PGIMER.
• The exam consists of four sections: physics, chemistry, biology & general aptitude (logical reasoning). It is an online test.
• Along with the entrance exam, the candidates also need to meet the criteria set by PGIMER for eligibility, such as educational qualifications and age limits.
• The minimum eligibility criteria for the B.Sc courses are completion of 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects and minimum aggregate marks as per the course requirements.
• Also, there are reservations for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per the government norms.
• The final merit list is prepared considering the candidate's entrance exam score. Seats are allocated by counseling that involves merit, reservations, choices submitted by candidates, etc.
