The PG exam Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of medical education and research (JIPMER) is a national level entrance test organized every year to provide admissions to PG degree course offered by JIPMER located at Puducherry and Keulakkunram respectively. The examination is very competitive one among over 40000 candidates appearing for around 200 seats which is normally limited by the number of students enrolled each year.
The JIPMER PG examination covers subjects of human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, community medicine, forensic medicine, pharmacology, pathology, and general medicine and surgery, all based on the Syllabus studied during the MBBS course. The test structure includes 200 multiple choice questions and students will be given a time limit of 3.5 hours to complete it. The rule of the deduction of 0.25 marks for every wrong response is used.
A month from the date of the exam, the top rankers in MDS (Community Medicine) are being selected JIPMER PG exam results are declared. Out of the above mentioned candidates, the ones who pass through counselling rounds composed of different levels get the seat to the college of their choice. Answers regarding JIPMER PG 2024 timetable are 1st week of June 2024, whereas results may be announced during last week of June 2024. Communication process starts in July. Seat allotment depends on the candidate's choices, the highest rank he/she gets, the availability, and the reservation parameters and many other issues.
PGIMER Exam is a national-level entrance test for admission to postgraduate medical courses at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
PGIMER Exam 2024 is typically held twice a year, in January and July. Check the official website for exact dates.
Candidates must have an MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and must have completed their internship by the prescribed date.

Successful candidates are eligible for counseling and seat allocation based on their rank and choice of specialty.
