Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University (MPMSU) is one of the new generation University in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and it is solely dedicated for providing education in the field of medical science. It is a recognized university under the University Grants Commission started in the year 2011. The university has been accredited grade ‘A’ with the NAAC has awarded a cumulative grade point average of 3.01. The NIRF medical ranking in India is ranked 65th among medical universities in 2023 for MPMSU.
The university has various medical courses like MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MCh and diploma courses in various specialties such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic medicine, Community medicine, Anaesthesiology, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Skin &VD, Chest & TB, Radio-diagnosis and Radiotherapy. Application for admission for the year 2024 will begin in May 2023. The entrance exams will be held in June-July 2023 while the last counselling session will be in August-September 2023 before the semester begins in November 2023. Regarding examinations, dates of exams are announced by the university and so also the results of admission.
The internships and placements are available to the students after the completion of the medical programs through campus drive at MPMSU.
