Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (DBRAU) or Ambedkar University or simply UOA is a state university which comes in Agra. Uttar Pradesh state of India. Having established it in 1927 as Agra University, it gained renamed in 1996 in homage to one of the most famous Indians, B. R. Ambedkar, who was an Indian jurist, economist, politician and social reformer and the inspiration for the Dalit Buddhist movement and the one who fought strongly against the discrimination based on caste. DBRAU provides the programs at different levels like the undergraduate and postgraduate courses covering the science, commerce, arts, law, education, and technical studies. Among two major courses offered at SLAB are B.Tech in Computer Science and Finance MBA. B.Tech computer science course comprises of subjects such as computer programming, data structure, operating system and database management. As for MBA finance, it includes topics such as financial management, economics, accounting, and marketing. Prometric conducts these programs in November - December months and the results are announced in January. The enrollment is going to accept the applications from May 2023. The admission process for 2024 will begin in that month. Candidates will be supposed to fill either online or off line filled forms. Admission will be on the basis of the previous UPSEE exam scores, graduating to rounds of counseling in an order for final seats confirmation. The school year is probably to start in late August of 2024.

- It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate and diploma programs at different academic levels. The parameters of eligibility is the factor that depends on the program type.

- The entry qualification for undergraduate courses usually depends on the Board from which Class 12 is passed with a given minimum percentage or the equivalent.

- Postgraduate candidates should meet certain cutoff criteria that vary for different academic programs, disciplines, and bachelor’s degree specializations.

- The eligibility criteria of MPhil and PhD courses are normally: the must have a postgraduate degree, and the marks in the qualifying exam should not be below a minimum level. Hence, besides written tests and interviews may be applied. 

- There is an exception with regard to percentage criteria in selected category and/or as per government rules.

- While some diplomas and certificates may require a qualification similar to grade10th or 12th, others may be entry level programs.

- Admissions are available for undergraduate or postgraduate courses in diverse subjects under various Faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Education, and other areas.

- In the case of undergraduate programs, the candidates whose merit is showed in their 12th board exams are shortlisted. As for selection, the marks obtained in the relevant subjects are weighted to compute aggregate percentage.

- For post-graduate level programmes, admissions would be based on the performance of candidates in undergraduate degree certificates or the university's entrance test. We also take into account if the applicant received good grades at the end of school.

- Students need to undergo an online process through an application form fill where they have to upload documents such as photographs, signatures, certification among other.

- The university publishes merit lists/ selection lists for students, which are based on cut-offs and ways the university is ranked in the entrance exam. Counselling sessions are held.

- Those that have been selected for this program will affirm their admission by depositing the required fees after their documents have been certified.

- The allocation is for the socially and economically backward class, as well as the family income level below the poverty line in the specified categories, as per the government norms. Another demographic aspect of affirmative action is the 5% quota for differently-abled candidates.
