Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (DBRAU) or Ambedkar University or simply UOA is a state university which comes in Agra. Uttar Pradesh state of India. Having established it in 1927 as Agra University, it gained renamed in 1996 in homage to one of the most famous Indians, B. R. Ambedkar, who was an Indian jurist, economist, politician and social reformer and the inspiration for the Dalit Buddhist movement and the one who fought strongly against the discrimination based on caste. DBRAU provides the programs at different levels like the undergraduate and postgraduate courses covering the science, commerce, arts, law, education, and technical studies. Among two major courses offered at SLAB are B.Tech in Computer Science and Finance MBA. B.Tech computer science course comprises of subjects such as computer programming, data structure, operating system and database management. As for MBA finance, it includes topics such as financial management, economics, accounting, and marketing. Prometric conducts these programs in November - December months and the results are announced in January. The enrollment is going to accept the applications from May 2023. The admission process for 2024 will begin in that month. Candidates will be supposed to fill either online or off line filled forms. Admission will be on the basis of the previous UPSEE exam scores, graduating to rounds of counseling in an order for final seats confirmation. The school year is probably to start in late August of 2024.
