- Minimum qualifications to apply for undergraduate program is 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category students) in Class 10+2 or equivalent examination.

1. Admissions:

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University provides admissions to the varying courses (UG to PG) through the University conducted entrance exams and admission on the merit basis as well.

2. Entrance Exams: 

The university conducts its own PET (Post Graduate Entrance Test) for the PG courses, namely MA, MSc and MCom. For the courses, viz. BTech and MTech, the admissions are done based on UPSEE or GATE (a state & national level exams).

3. Application Process:

Those interested application forms need to be filled and submitted either physically or electronically before the date limit. Along with documents and application fee is also required. 

4. Selection Process:

Entrance exam based selection process takes place by crossing the cut-off marks and the merit rank obtained by the candidates. Onwards of the UG courses, admissions might be on the basis of merit lists created from 12th class marks etc. apart from the conferences to be convened.
