C.S.J.M. University (Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University) is a state public university, which was earlier known as the Kanpur University, is located in Kanpur city, Uttar Pradesh state, India. They were set in 1966 to provide seven constituent colleges and some of them are also recognized as institutes which offer programs in different disciplines. CSJMU offers more than 100 different courses in the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Law, Science, Education, Engineering, and Management in order to ensure satisfying the interests of such large. The most popular ones are Masters of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology, and MBA in Marketing. The B.Tech in Computer Science, the CSJM University deals with different topics e.g. programming, data structures, algorithms. The marketing field of the MBA takes into account subjects such as consumer behaviour, brand management, digital marketing, sales and retail management among others. The entrance exam for our university majoring in computer science and management is set at the second week of May in 2024. The final year exams of the current batches will be held in October-November 2023 which is already fixed as far as timing is concerned. It will be in early April 2024 when the applications for entrance exams start. These will be done through the university portal. A precondition for enrollment to different courses is usually the prior degree with specified scores. From the level of UG /PG diploma to Vocational courses and programs for different academic background learners.

Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Educational Qualification: Normally, the candidates are supposed to secure 10+2 or any equivalent qualification from a board recognized by the university for participating in undergraduate programs. Specific program-wise eligibility criteria may apply.
- Minimum Marks: The cut-off marks of B. Tech admissions change with program and the minimum aggregate marks for general category students is usually around 45-50%. For reserved category students, less than the minimum marks is allowed to seek admission to specific course.
- Entrance Tests: Some programs involve being admitted by taking a designated enrollment test prepared by a university or an agency assigned for it. Regular instances of it can be semester end exams for engineering courses.
- Age Limit: The age limit is always flexible as it really depends on the candidate. However, they are expected to meet the minimum age criteria as per their qualifications standards. In like manner, candidates for undergraduate admissions may be requested to be 17+ upwards.
- Domicile Criterion: The university has earmarked 40-50% of its total seats for the people of Madhya Pradesh under the domicile quota category. If is not full, the remaining seats are filled under All India open quota.

1. Admission Calendar
- The university besides issuing an admission notification and calendar on their official website; they also start the admission season. It involves publishing the dates for application, the dates of test, if any, counseling schedules and so on.
2. Eligibility Criteria
- Students most meet the qualifying criteria to apply to varied programs as in terms of education required, its variation in percentages/scores required in the qualifying exams so on. Eligibility details are in the admission brochure.
3. Entrance Exams
- In this case (i.e. some programs), the university conducts their own exam that is CJSMU PET for engineering . Not only do we consider the score in exams like JEE Main, GATE but also the total marks for the final decision regarding admissions to the academic programs.
4. Counseling
- Eligible candidates must attend counseling sessions that will be held on particular days duly scheduled. The counseling is done by taking into consideration the merit, availability of seats, choice of candidates etc. The candidate has to produce various required documents for the confirmation of the seat.
5. Admission Confirmation
- When the assignment of slots has been finalized through the counseling process, applicants have to ensure that the semester fees are paid before the deadline in order to avoid admission delays.
