BITS South Goa Admission 2024

The BITSAT 2024 online registration starts from the month of December of the year 2023. The BITSAT shall be an online computer-based test that will be conducted in May/June 2024 at the different test centers in India. The test will have questions from Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, logical reasoning, Mathematics/Biology whichever subject the candidate wants to opt for. The scores are used for admission to all the programs in the institution for all students including international students. Direct admission for Board toppers scheme is also available, therefore the applications too. The selection decision is based on students’ performance in the entrance exam, recommendations from teachers or other faculty members, merit scores, XII standard mark lists, order of preference, and availability of seats in the course. The candidates who have reached the final stages have to follow the admission procedures and pay the fees besides submitting their documents within the stipulated time. The classes usually start in August – September.The time sequence of the classes depends on the progress of each class during the academic year. BITS South Goa Application Process 2024

BITS South Goa intends to recruit eligible candidates for first-degree and post-degree programs in engineering, sciences, humanities, and management disciplines. It is therefore open for applications online or they can apply through the post.

The online application forms for admission can be accessed from the official website of the institution at: www.bits-pilani.ac.in/goa. With the online application, candidates have to register, fill in the application form, attach documents, and pay application fees. Offline applications are also accepted and which the candidate must complete and send the hard copy to the address provided on the website, together with all the necessary documents and application fees before the date specified. 

The admission process involves taking of an entrance test known as BITSAT through which UG admission is offered by the institution based at Pilani. The selected candidates are then called for a face-to-face interview and group discussion followed by the preparation of the merit list depending on the BITSAT score, previous academic record and extra-curricular activities etc. The procedure for admission and the qualifying standards for each program are outlined on the website. All tests are compulsory and a candidate has to fulfill all these requirements before applying for the online/offline application form for Admission to B.E./M.E. in BITS, South Goa within the prescribed period of time.

BITS South Goa Application Process 2024

• Enter all the required details
• Fill up the application form completely & submit it.
• Candidates will be allotted a user ID & password from the confirmation page.
• The same User ID & Password will be sent to the candidate's registered Email ID for future reference.
• Upload passport size photograph (less than 1 MB) and all the required documents.
• Pay Online & Download Receipt.

• 10th class mark sheet & passing certificate
• 12th class mark sheet & passing certificate
• Graduation mark sheet & other certificates (for PG courses)
• NET/JRF SET/TEACHER Fellowship/ (For Ph.D. applicants only)
• Recent character certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Passport size self attested photographs

BITS South Goa B.Pharma Admission 2024

- There are admission openings based on merit in the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) organized by GCET Cell of Government of Goa.

- Apart from the GCET scores, there are certain standard laid down requirements for the eligibility which includes passing in the 10+2 examination or any equivalent examination in science stream with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology. Some colleges have set a minimum aggregate mark requirement that ranges from 45-50%.

- Application process are usually in April while the GCET exam is usually in the month of June. Exam include Physics, Chemistry and Math/Biology Stream and it consists of multiple choice questions.

- SCS takes place in July-August after declaration of GCET result. The seats to be alloted are dependent on candidates options, GCET ranks, available seats etc.

- The approximate number of colleges in Goa offering BPharm is 8-10 and the total number of seats available are 150-200. Of this, 85% seats are for domiciles of Goa who need to produce the pertinent documents.
