Hotel Management is a 3-year program at the Bachelor of Business Administration level and it is designed for students who want to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to manage different functions of a hotel. The instructional program covers issues of produce and accommodate people, office management, room cleaning and facilities, planning and design of the hotel facilities, marketing, human resource management, and the hospitality laws.
In addition to the general business administration subjects such as accounting, economics, finance and business communication, students also have a firm grasp of the fundamentals of their specific field. 1. Check Eligibility

7. Attend College/Classes
Register for the college on the prescribed date and be in every class of the BBA Hotel Management course to begin your journey.
1. 10+2 mark pass or equivalent in any stream from the established board and minimum 50% aggregate.
2. For SC/ST candidates, it is usually considered a passing selection criterion (with 45% marks) that you get as 10+2 or equivalent examinations.
3. Passing over the entrance test conducted by the institute or university that provides the program of BBA Hotel Management. Some institutes operate as independent entities with their own entry examinations to separate the strong candidates from others while others accept the scores obtained from the national and a state level entrance tests.
4. Students preparing for their board exams, 10+2 or other should also be allowed to apply for this but, their admission will be subject to at least obtaining setting an exam.
5. It is rare that you will find any college or university where there is a defined age limit in the admissions process. Some universities impose upper age limit taring 22-23 years.
6. Candidates should match all the other suitable requirements including physical fitness tests, medical tests (where applicable).
7. Apart from that, some institutes have an interview session which is done for a final stage admission.
NCHM JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination): The selection criterion comprises numerical ability aptitude, English language knowledge, skill in logical reasoning and general awareness relevant to the hospitality sector.
AIHMCT WAT (Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Written Admission Test): AIHMCT WAT critically grades the ability of applicants to comprehend and speak English language, general knowledge, logical reasoning and numerical ability, required for hotel management.
IHM Aurangabad Entrance Exam (Institute of Hotel Management Aurangabad Entrance Exam): IHM Aurangabad Entrance Exam includes English Language comprehension, quantitative aptitude, numerical ability, logical reasoning, and General Awareness as important subjects for hotel management courses.
WBJEE HM (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Hotel Management): Aptitude survey covering English language, Logical Reasoning, numerical ability and general awareness is carried out by WBJEE HM to test if a candidate is prepared for the challenges of hotel management.
