The University of Mysore, that lies in the city of Mysore, Karnataka, is one of the earliest educational institution in India, as it was founded in 1916. It happens to be the public state University which provides programs at both undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. levels in departments of Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Engineering, Law and Medicine. University of Mysore Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Candidates applying for undergraduate programs like BA, BSc, BCom should be at least 10+2 holders and should meet the minimum aggregate percentage mentioned in the prospectus.
- On the Master's degree (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com.) - Bachelor's degree in the appropriate specialization, awarded by a certified university, with the aggregate mark of minimum 50% (45% for reserved categories).
- The student would have to possess an Mphil degree in the related area from a Government recognized university with at least 55% marks and 50% marks for the reserved categories. Along with the basic requirements of grades and transcripts there may be additional admissions tests or interviews required.
- For undergraduate diploma and certificate programs, - 10+2 qualification in relevant subjects or 10+2+3 year full time diploma for those who undergo lateral entry.
- Implementation of a 5% marks easing scheme to workout the minimum eligibility problems of those candidates who already have passed the UOM entrance test. Plus there is a bonus open up to reserved category students with government norms.
- Particular students, Kashmiri exiles, sports-related students and may have an extra condition for eligibility.

1. Apply and Register
