The RK University is a private University situated at Rajkot in the state of Gujarat. It is duly affirmed with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the government of Gujarat. This university has been accredited with ‘A’ grade of NAAC (National assessment and accreditation council) which is a symbol of quality education. According to NIRF 2023 ranking, RK University has positioned itself at 75th rank in the NIRF ranking of the Universities of India.  

A whole array of courses is taught at the university, and these are spread across fields such as engineering, management, commerce, computer applications, pharmacy and design. These are the most sought after programs namely the BTech in CSE, mechanical, civil, electrical & electronics, electronics & communication, MBA, BBA, BCom, BCA, BPharm and BDes. The semester end examinations are held in December and May for the respective years. It begins in January through national or state entrance exams or through direct merit base system. Application form can be on line or off line basing on the individual’s preference. Admissions are also done through group discussion and personal interview and this is normally done during admissions.  

To facilitate its students, RK University has partnered with more than 100 reputed companies for Placement services. Elite industries like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, L&T, IBM and Accenture conduct campus interviews time to time and recruit meritorious students. The maximum salary offered was around 16,000 per month, and the minimum salary offered varies between 3000 to 4000. This university has maintained a very high record of placements where more than 80% of the students finds a place in the market every year. The placement cell also has facilities to enhance the employability skills of students through training in soft skills, communication skills, resume writing and soft skills for facing interview sessions. Corporates also provide internship facilities to the students of RK University to provide the students an actual feel of industry.
