The MPUAT has about 30 courses and streams that are provided at the diploma level, under graduate level and post graduate level including BSc Agriculture, MSc Horticulture, BTech Food Technology, MBA Agri-Business, Diploma in Agriculture Engineering and others. This is the exam schedule for the various programs – B.Sc. Agriculture and allied subjects – entrance exam June 10, 2023 B.Tech June 5, 2023. For the masters programs, exam is on the 3rd of July, 2023. The Application form come in March and the admission process includes - filling up the online application form, sitting for the entrance exam, checking the merit list, submitting documents and then the final admission. MPUAT Udaipur Application Process 2024

The MPUAT, Udaipur, a University established by the Government of Rajasthan offers admissions to various Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses in Agriculture Sciences and Technology. The MPUAT admission can be done through an online process on the website www.mpuat.ac.in or through a tangible process. 

Online application can be done through the official MPUAT website by navigating to the ‘Admissions’ tab. Choose the programme of your interest, complete the application form and scan you necessary papers to attach them. Read the instruction carefully, and once you are done with the payment of the application fee online. After you have finished with the form, you can take a printout of the complete form for further use.

For online application, you can download the prospectus and application form from the university website or request for their dispatch through the post or by visiting the university personally. Please complete the form and submit copies of their marks statements, certificates and any other relevant documents that are certified. Enclose the application form duly filled along with the demand draft towards the application fee deposited in any branch of Bank of Baroda or at the Cashier, Academic Section, University.

MPUAT Udaipur Ph.D Admission 2024

- MPUAT refers to Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology. It is situated in Udaipur(Rajasthan).

- Up until now, the university has not published any notification or timetable for the admissions to the Ph.D program for the batch of 2024. These details are normally made available one to two years before the actual release is to be made. 

- Hence for the 2023 session, the university has commenced the procedure of admission to the Ph.D program where entrance exam was conducted in December 2022. 

- The eligibility criteria for admission to Ph.D programme is master’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% of marks from any university. There are certain exceptions to this rule and the Companies are allowed to provide relaxation for the reserved categories.

MPUAT Udaipur Ph.D Selection Criteria

- Candidates should have completed their Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC) for age limits.

- The University has its own examination as a requirement for admission of students to its program. The exam has sections for general ability together with subject matter content knowledge.

- For the candidates who cleared the written exam there is an interview/viva-voce round which needs to be attended. The interview process is used to determine qualification and areas of research interest in the candidates.

- This performance determines the final selection as it is a combination of previous exams scores 50%, and interview/viva performance 30%. Relevant experience and records of the candidates and performance in the previous institution is also taken into account.

- Other requirements may be passing of certain exams such as NET/GATE/JRF based on the specialty area a candidate wants to venture into. Recommendation letters and a proper research proposal also help a lot.

- A part of the seating arrangement is for the general public, while another part is reserved for students belonging to particular categories as per the government norms such as SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.

- It means Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology. It is building in the city of Udaipur and is located in the state of Rajasthan.

- The university M.Tech courses are available in the field of agricultural and technology the major fields are as follows Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Processing & Food Technology, Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology etc.

- The admission process mostly takes place in May-June for the session beginning in July. Admission is given on merit basis, the basic eligibility criterion for admission is the GATE score or equivalent.

MPUAT Udaipur M.Tech Selection Criteria

- The admission is, therefore, given based on merit in the BE/BTech qualification examination in addition to the entrance examination conducted by the University.

- For admission, candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks (aggregate) in their B.Tech/B.E qualifying examination for general category candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates.

- For admission to MTech, the university has its own test known as MPUAT-PET for students aspiring to take admission in Maharishi University of Information Technology. Depending on the scores attained in this exam, the students are selected for counseling/admission.

- Each candidate is expected to produce various documents during counseling such as category certificates, BE/BTech marksheets among others. Seating arrangements are made on the basis of counseling, marks scored by the candidate, availability of the seats in respective categories and the preferences filled in by the candidate.

- In addition to PET performance, the final merit for counseling is determined by the weight ages assigned for BTech/BE scores, which are 80% and PET exam scores, which are 20%.

- The additional quota for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates is equally followed as per the guidelines of the Government of Rajasthan.

MPUAT Udaipur M.Tech How To Apply?

1. Visit the university website or look for an advertisement to find the notification for M.Tech Admission. The application is usually advertised during the period May/June of each year.

2. Choose the specialization of the M.Tech course that you wish to be enrolled in. Some of the commonly known disciplines include Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Plant Biotechnology, etc.

3. For more information on registration, check the university portal and/or pick up a hard copy application form as required. Fill it very carefully mentioning all the information related to academic, personal and contact information.

4. The application fee can be paid online or annexed with a demand draft. Many times application fees is ranging from Rs 1000-1500, although depending on the Institution it may vary.

5. Please enclose the copy of the required documents with your application: marksheets of 10th and 12th standards, marksheets of graduation, caste certificate if any, experience certificates etc.

6. After filling all the details in the Application form, attach the required documents as mentioned and should reach the address before the date specified in the notification. In general, admission applications are normally sent before the end of the 3rd or 4th week of June. 

7. Candidates who meet the prescribed criteria will be invited for written test and/or interview. It uses the records of the student, exam results, and the interview as the basis for choosing the selected candidate.

8. If not, visit the official university website or check the department notice board once in a while to check the admission list out. The admit cards of the selected candidates will be available on the official website of the university at the given date and time along with the admission procedures which needs to be filled by the candidates within the given date and time.

MPUAT Udaipur MBA Admission 2024

- The abbreviated form of MPUAT is Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology. It was started in Udaipur, Rajasthan and is a renowned institute in the field of education.

- The college of Agri Business Management of the university also proffers full time MBA program for two years.

- The MBA admission process of the batch 2024 is expected to commence at the beginning of 2024. University has not yet released the exact dates and procedure of admission which is a common scenario around the globe.

- The admission process for MBA program commonly involves the minimum eligibility criteria of a bachelor degree in any stream with at least 50% marks. Candidates who belong to final year are also eligible to apply in a provisional manner.

MPUAT Udaipur MBA Selection Criteria

1. It is ongoing through the scores obtained in MAT/CMAT etc followed by group discussion and interview.

2. For MAT, the minimum requirement for the candidates are 40% marks in graduation for general category and 35% for SC/ST category. For CMAT, graduation degree is mandatory along with 50% percentage (45% for SC/ST) obtained in the course.

3. Applicants shortlisted for the group discussion on the basis of MAT/CMAT scores are allowed to participate in group discussion for 20 marks and personal interview for 10 marks.

Hence the weightage distribution for the exam is 60% for MAT/CMAT score, 20% for GD score and 20% for interview score.

5. The provision of reservation to the SC/ST/OBC/MBC quota is applicable as per rule in the selection.

6. Any candidate who wishes to be considered for admission to the university need to meet certain requirement in terms of his or her academic record, age and other factors.

3. Choose an MBA program that you wish to pursue - MBA Agribusiness or MBA Rural Management.

4. Ideally, you should first sign up by filling details such as name, email ID, mobile number etc.

5. An application number and a password for the application will be issued. This must be the case, and make a note of these.

6. Enter all the necessary information on the application form using the user Id and password that was provided upon registration.

7. Scanned images of the documents demanded such as qualifications, category certificate and so forth should be uploaded. 

8. If the applicant has paid the application fees through credit/debit card, net banking etc., then the information should be mentioned in the application form.
