Barkatullah University, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh State), is a public state university that was established in 1990. It is launched by the students from various departments of arts, commerce, science, law, education, and management. Principal college consists of around 200 affiliated colleges located throughout the state.

The university educates through different programs like B.A in various subjects' economics, English, sociology etc; and B.Tech in computer science and engineering also which is technical. The test every year is conducted in March-April (March – April) generally. The date sheet/exam schedule being released 45-60 days earlier from the start of exams is mentioned in the notice. 

Process for the 2024 batch will begin during the May 2023 month. The potential learners can take the online application forms or get the hard copies from the campus. Qualifying examination’s merit is what helps candidates’ selection in the shortlist. In addition, a qualifying exam is organized for the purpose of the admission of a particular program like Management or Engineering. The final merit list is disclosed in July 2023, while the academic session for the new year commences in August 2023.

Barkatullah University Eligibility Criteria 2024

- Undergraduate candidates, according to the rules, are required to have passed the 10+2 or a similar level examination before applying with a minimum of the prescribed marks per program.

- With respect to most post-graduate programs, the candidates must already have a disciplinary relevant bachelor's degree from a reputable university with minimum marks as per the specific program. Others will also be demanding more thorough and even detailed qualifications from participants. 

- Firstly, a relaxation in marks percentage requirements for reserved category students is allowed as per the government norms.

- There will be a set of requirements that all the international candidates applying for enrollment will have to fulfill before getting accepted by our University. Such credentials must have been met through invigilated exams in their home countries. Their applications are made through a special channel that does not overlap with other channels.

- Ensure to meet for that particular program to fulfill purpose on subjects of study, entrance tests and so on as mentioned on the university website or the admission brochure .

- Barkatullah University conducts the entrance test for candidates seeking entry to some undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The exams could cover a written test, an interview, or actually a combination of two.

- In some cases when selection is made it may depend on the candidate’s proficiency in their previous grade e.g. or course. For example, it is mostly the decision for class 12th results which will be the basis for admission into undergraduate courses.

- Normally, the cut-off scores are given and the candidate must get a specific percentage to be accepted into different academic programs here at the Barkatullah University. The amo cut is not constant; it varies from one year to the other.
