Rama University BTech Admission 2024: Application Process, Eligibility, and Important Dates

Rama University offers four years B.Tech programme in engineering disciplines like computer science Engineering, Information Technology Electronics & Communication Engineering Mechanical, Civil and Bio Technology. The admission process for the B.Tech program offered to the students of the batch that will join in 2024 will start in May 2023. Desirable qualifications for applying for the post are that the candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with at least 50% marks, and Mathematics must be a compulsory subject.

The said admissions will be made on the basis of national or state engineering entrance tests such as JEE Main, UPSEE etc. The School of Management also offers Rama University’s own test known as REET for admission into its business programmes. Successful candidates will be required to attend counseling sessions where they will be presented with documents for verification, choices to make and the final seat to be offered. The total number of seats available for B.Tech is 1200 and the total B.Tech intake across branches is 600. A non-refundable amount of Rupees 20,000 will be charged as admission fee from candidates who have been offered admission. Tuition fees for the entire program including the fee for the semester at the partner institution is roughly about 350,000 Rupees. For the next batch, B.Tech classes open in the 3rd week of August 2024.

How to Apply for B.Tech in Rama University 2024?

1. Visit the home page of Rama University and click on the B.Tech Admission link. Find the button/link that says ‘apply here’ and begin your online application.

2. When applying through the online platform, ensure to provide all personal details such as name, date of birth, contact details, etc., in the right manner. 

3. Fill in your 12th standard information giving details of the subjects you have studied, marks obtained etc Scan and upload your mark sheets.

4. Choose the B.Tech specialization in which you want to apply from among the options offered. 

5. One may online pay the application fee through Net Banking/ Debit card/ Credit card. 

6. For photo upload, scan the passport size picture and for signature upload, scan the signature as per the given image size standard. 

7. After filling all of the fields of the application form, review the information filled in the form and submit the application online. 

8. An application confirmation page is produced after the completion of the application process and this page has to be downloaded and printed.

9. In case the applicant secures a place in the shortlist, he or she has to sit for the university entrance examination at the arranged time. Successful completion of the exam is necessary for the final result and admission
