1. Accompanying the enrollment procedure, examine the criteria of IIM Kashipur to receive a Ph.D program. This involves possession of a master’s degree or any other qualification at a comparable level in the respective field with minimum acceptable percentage. You require atleast a good score in national level tests like CAT/GATE/GMAT/GRE based on the background.
2. Search for a faculty member currently teaching at IIM Kashipur and conduct a literature search for research publications in your area of interest and then contact this person via email asking them about any available PhD positions with them. You should provide your resume and statement of purpose as well. If they agree with the above request, provide you with a consent letter.
3. Applicants are required to download the application form from the institute’s website, along with the other essential documents such as transcript, test scores, letters of recommendation, research proposal, etc. While there is an application fee, the payment has to be made online as well.
4. In case the candidate is shortlisted for the selection process, he/she has to sit for a written test followed by a personal interview held at IIM Kashipur campus. The questions themselves are testing the general knowledge about the subject matter and the ability to conduct research.
5. Incase selected after the admission process, the student will be sent an offer letter from IIM Kashipur. This ensures that you accept the offer by paying the fee and providing necessary documents within the timelines specified.
6. Finalize the enrolment formalities by paying first semester fees of the respective course. To start your Ph.D., you need to produce original education and test scores certificates and sign the program guide agreement
