1. Bachelor's Degree: The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university and that their marks must be 50% and above. This is just the very basic qualification that anyone seeking to apply for an M.P.Ed course could possess.

2. Entrance Test: Most colleges enroll students who got a passing grade on PET, OMR B.P.Ed exam, UP B.P.Ed exam, PSTET or CTET exam, or the institute’s own exam. They test general abilities of problem-solving, applying knowledge of various subjects.

3. Physical Fitness: Applicants should be physically healthy, shall not have any medical conditions, and those who should be able to be very active and physically fit. The certificate requires students to have passed in the examination in a few universities.

4. State Domicile: Some universities which are funded by the State give priority in admissions to that students from that state or those who are domiciled in that state. Find out if the regional or other special permit requests are applicable.
