An additional admission exam called the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) is administered to students in the UK and other countries including Spain, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore as part of the admissions process to medicine, biomedical sciences and dental programmes. One of the important objectives of BMAT is to determine a candidate's level of logical thinking, analytics and writing ability. The test taken in 2hours has got 3 sections, 1 section gives the test of scientific knowledge and its application, another section is on verbal reasoning and the final section is a 30minutes' writing test in which candidates analyze the given argument.
Candidates get a common score from sections 1 and 2 among which they are rated from 1.0 to 9.0, higher is likely to mean better capacity to produce. This task in Section 3 is objectively assessed by examiners who evaluate reading comprehension, skill of analysis and the ability to structure a correct text. From 2024 akademic cycle, BMAT testing will be available in in October and November 2023. Result of the course are usually normally posted to candidates within 28 days fromA exam date. Admission to most universities is decided by key factors, namely the BMAT, detailed academic results, interviews and the like.

- Valid government issued photo ID - Apart from your Aadhaar card, passport, and driver's license, you can also bring in your other belongings. The ID should be valid on the day of counseling.
- Sertificate of domicile (if needed due to special quotas at state level) - Sometimes certificates of residence or domicile are used as proof of a person's place of residence.
- Caste certificate (if needed) - If you are going to make application under reserved category the relevant caste certificate should also be availed.
- Disability certificate (if applicaple) - The candidates with disability have to keep their medical certificate with them for last mitigation problems.
