The Allahabad University Postgraduate Entrance Test, abbreviated as pgat Allahabad university, is an entrance exam administered by the University of Allahabad for enrollment into PG and research programs conducted at the university and some of its constituent colleges. The PGAT test is conducted to screen not only candidates for disciplines such as Science, Arts, Commerce, Law, Education, Computer Science and Physical Education but also for other rooms. It peruses candidates on what matters like domains of knowledge, abstract thinking & numbers. 

As per tentative schedules,; according to the Allahabad University PGAT 2024 exam, the exam would be conducted in the month of May or June 2024. Generally 2-3 months prior the exams, the application process for admission gets underway. When PGAT coempletes, the results are declared in 15-20 days after an announcement on Allahabad University website. The list of the shortlisted candidates then arrives and the counseling sessions takes place for the final seat allotment and to confirm admission. The college has been projected to release its cut-offs and final merit lists for PGAT exam 2024 in July 2024, only soon after the announcement of results. Such a pattern could in many cases vary by a few weeks from one year to the other.
