1. MDS/MDS Equivalent Degree
Specialization wise candidates must have MDS degree or an equivalent degree which in turn should be recognized by the Dental Council of India as a prerequisite.
2. Minimum 55% Marks
Minimum entry requirements to be 55% aggregate or equivalent grade in the MDS degree examination for applicants. General category candidates are granted relaxation up to 5% while the reserved category candidates are eligible for higher relaxation up to 5%.
3. DCI Registration
Candidates who have successfully passed the internship and who have valid Dental Council of India (DCI) registration certification are qualified for applying.
4. Entrance Test
In many academic institutions and universities where the PhD Dental Science program is offered many of them employ an aptitude test which is then followed by an interview for the purpose of screening candidates for admission. The entrance exam is must be passed out.
5. Research Proposal
