The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences is a state university based in Guwahati, the largest city of the state of Assam, India. In 2009, well-established organization envisions to have quality education and research in healthcare sciences. The university has diploma, bachelors and masters courses in medical, nursing, pharmacy, dental sciences and so on among many others. In the mix of the most sought after courses are the MBBS(Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and the BDS (Bachelors at Dental Surgery). It is 5.5-year MBBS program while 5-year BDS is a course. The university takes place semester examination in June and December, during the two semesters of the year. When it comes to new student (2024) recruitment, the application process will begin in May 2024. Learners who want to attend the medical institution will take the eligibility entrance test (NEET) of which the rankings will be used to allocate seats. Applications are to be filled up in the website, with the submission of the 10th and 12th marksheet, NEET scorecard and other certificates proving eligibility.
