6. Receive admission decision | Receive the admission decision from the university or college. |
1. BPharm Degree - College graduates in the field of pharmacy (BPharm) are required to come from reputable institutions/universities.
2. Minimum Percentage in BPharm - The candidates who attain 55-60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the B.Pharm course can become eligible for admission in the postgraduate program. It may happen that among the colleges there is a variety of this.
3. GPAT/NIPER JEE/Quiz Based On One's Chosen Interests - Usually, one is required to undergo an entrance test by appearing for GPAT/NIPER JEE/amongst other tests or by qualifying exams conducted by particular colleges/universities. While others could offer admission to a BPharm course on the basis of previous achievement.
4. Work Experience - Most of the colleges nowadays ask for 1-2 years, preferably after BPharm degree, of work experience in the pharma industry. The main aim of this is to give students all the experience they need, something practical.
5. Application Procedure - Applicants should fill in application forms to the colleges/universities they have chosen either by using electronic form (online) or the traditional form (offline). Lastly, final pricing must include the application fee.

GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test): Through NTA, GPAT does an assessment for entry into MPharm programs. It evaluates knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences, analyses and rational thinking.
NIPER JEE: National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Examination are conducted to the candidates willing to seek admission to NIPERs for MPharm programs. It assesses candidates' suitability through their knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, analytical skills, and research competence.
