Pune, Maharashtra, India private coeducational university Symbiosis International University is the one that we are talking about (SIU). Since 2002, SIU, accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), was founded to demonstrate excellence in higher education and obtained Grade "A" as an award. The university has a number of campuses and it provides students with both undergraduate and postgraduate degree classes in numerous sectors like management, law, engineering, media, economics and computer science. A few programs at SIU which are highly ranked include the BBA program, which is a dynamic program that allows students to specialize in areas such as Marketing and Finance after the first two years of study. Another one is B.Tech program which gives students an opportunity to major in areas like Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering and others during the last two years. Usually, the BBA examinations are in October and November every year and the B.Tech ones follow later in December. From January 2023 onwards, the registration process will be held for the admissions in the year 2024. The entrance test for SET/SLAT will be conducted for this purpose by the university itself. Braggers/Shortlisted people come for the group discussion / and the personal interview ned rounds and in May-June 2023 the final admission merit list will be out. Now, the seats which will be allot to students who are eager to learn in the excellent academic environment offered by the SIU.

Symbiosis International University Eligibility Criteria 2024

- For undergraduate programs: The applicants should have completed the 10+2 standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board of education, as laid down in the specific program guidelines.

- For postgraduate programs: Candidates must posses minimum of bachelors degree from reputed University with expected level of marks as per program requirements in general. Some programs may also have additional criteria besides eligible students.

- For the common admission test (SET/SLAT/SNAP) required for many programs: Let us note that if you do not have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, you do not necessarily have to complete it to apply. Giving the opportunity about an only bachelor's degree holder to even appear for the tests is enough.

- International students have  to  get an interim certificate or equivalence as per rule stipulated by Association of Indian Universities. They should be assuring that English language proficiency scores are already available, namely IELTS and TOEFL.

- The eligibility criteria may differ from one program to the other depending on where each of the program is being offered under the Symbiosis Institutes. Students will be encouraged to visit the university website or the brochure provided for the program they intend to shortlist to find out more about eligibility criteria for the specific program they want to apply for.

- On top of that, another criterion could come along with it, like entrance exams, personal interview etc. for certain programs. Certain masters programs also have some requirements about work experience.

Symbiosis International University Admission Process 2024

1. Application Form: First off find the web portal of the university and to complete the online form with details like name, academic scores etc put in the scanned documents as well.

2. Entrance Test: Likewise, for almost all programs in SIU, you'll be required to undertake university level tests such as SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test). For some programs, certain extra requirements are necessary like PI-WAT, GE-PIWAT, etc.

3. Shortlisting: Firstly, we will rank the candidates based on their performance in class 12th or diploma qualifying exams, then we will select the candidates on individual merits and other criteria for further evaluation. The criterion for selection and the eligibility requirements change from one program to another.

4. Personal Interview: The shortlisted candidates will be invited to a personal interview round, which will be by subject-oriented. A few from SIU also carry out Writing Ability Test (WAT) or group discussions as they do individual interviews.

5. Provisional Admission: In the last, candidates' final score charts are made based on his/her overall performance. If you are lucky and succeed to pass the aptitude test, you'll receive your final admission letter as well as the fees due.

6. Final Enrollment: When you are provisionally admitted, you will have to complete the formalities of enrollment such as filling up forms and paying fees by the due dates so that the admission itself takes place which means that you submit the documents, fees payment, sign an undertaking, etc. and take admission.
