 The L.L.M in Constitutional Law is a one year or two year postgraduate master's degree which is obtained after completion of a regular LL.B or an LL.M. This course is entirely focused on the in-depth study of the Indian Constitution and constitutional law. This course often takes an overview of the Indian Constitution that began during the colonial era and the struggle for freedom initiated by Mahatma Gandhi. It then goes ahead to deliberate on the drafting of the constitution by Dr B R Ambedkar which led to some significant amendments and judicial rulings.

Pivotal matters such as basic rights and duties, supreme directive principles of the state policy, the relationship between union and states as well as center-state disputes, constitutional interpretation, judicial review, and parliamentary democracy are also included. In studying important Supreme Court court judgments that hold significance in the constitutional jurisprudence, post-independence from 1947, students examine these court judgments.

1. JD Degree - A Master of Laws (LLM) program is only possible if you have already earned a Juris Doctor degree from a law school approved by the relevant accreditation agency. J.D. is the entry level law degree in United States.

2. Elite Academic Performance - As stipulated, LLM programs prefer students with high academic performance in their J.D. programs. The rank or grade point average are the indicators. Alongside the other competitive programs that are looking for applicants with class standing in 25% of the J.D. class, the applicants are put under pressure.

3. Letters of Recommendation – Letters of recommendation play a pivotal role in obtaining admission to LLM programs. Mention the fact that law school professors or other legal professionals may be asked to write such recommendation letters and they can highlight your academic strengths and interests. 

4. Individual assay - For this to write a statement where you should express the reasons to get enrolled for LLM degree as well as how this program is the best path to your career and academic goals. Stress the fact that you are looking for your career focus to be constitutional law.  

5.
