Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) is a prestigious regulation school positioned in Patiala, Punjab, India. It was hooked up in 2006 with the aid of the Punjab Government, and it is called after the former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi. The concept of setting up a National Law University in Punjab turned into first proposed in 2003, and in 2006, the Punjab Government passed the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Act, 2006 to set up RGNUL. The University commenced functioning from its transient campus at Patiala in 2006, and in 2012, it shifted to its permanent campus at Sidhuwal, that is unfold over an area of 50 acres.
