Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) in Raipur-one of the best among the Indian national law universities for its quality legal education-is known for this attribute. Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur offers programs such as BA LLB and LLM for aspiring students. The undergrad programmes further includes the 5 year integrated course of BA LLB and the professional 3 year LLB course. In post-graduation programs, students can pursue professional courses of LLM, and PhD, diplomas, and PG diplomas in different fields like Corporate Laws, Criminal Laws, Constitutional Law, etc.

HNLU has a semester system and English is the only teaching medium recognized. The choice has been made for the applicants to be the 12th class passing out candidates having minimum 45% marks. The minimum graduation mark for LLB is 45%. The pass mark from any discipline is required for the same.

Hidayatullah National Law University Admission Process 2024

1. The universities take admission through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam. CLAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CLAT) for admissions into various law programmes in the country.

2. For the admissions to HNLU, Raipur, students need to first give CLAT and then obtain minimum grade that will allow them to be admitted.

3. Once the applicants have obtained the CLAT result, they are expected to submit another application form to admission of the 5 year BA LLB program at HNLU Raipur. On the university website, there is a download link for the student application form.

4. CLAT results help secure places, and the person's category (GEN/OBC/SC/ST), as well as the availability of the seats, also affect the admission procedure. More weight is given to candidates who have higher CLAT ranks.

5. Through counselling sessions which include document verification, fee remittance and admission, candidates who previously passed the test and whose names were shortlisted are selected into the college.

6. The preferred policy of Government of India on seats to admit candidates from reserved categories is implemented at HNLU Raipur.
