Supply chain management MBA is a two year full time post graduate degree program that helps students learn about several aspects of managing the supply chain of a firm. These areas include operations management, procurement, logistics, warehouse management, inventory control, transportation and development of strategies and optimization for supply chain. Students acquire conceptual knowledge and analytical and technological skills required to support informed decision-making for optimal management of an organization’s supply chain profitability. The program length is normally four semesters or twenty-four months in which student has to cover the compulsory credit hours not only for supply chain management courses but also has to deliver major supply chain management project. 

CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT are the entrance tests that are being accepted for admission into MBA (Supply Chain Management). And many of the colleges also look at scores of exams like CMAT, ATMA, and state level exams. In addition to this, as per the above mentioned admission procedure, candidates are required to clear any one of these standardized tests and have to go through more selection processes like group discussion, personal interview as well as essay writing before they finally get the admission confirmation from the college they have applied for based on their overall performance. This post-graduate course is also an important factor considered by some universities during the admission process, including work experience.
