The MBA-Finance is a 2 years length of time full-time postgraduate management program to provide student with an elevated level of knowledge and skills in the field of finance. The curriculum offers a solid base in distinguishing once in a core management disciplines like accounting, economics, marketing, operations, statistics, and business strategy. Students choose finance subjects as an academic specialization, where they learn about the corporate finance, investment banking, financial markets, security analysis, portfolio management, derivatives, risk management, international finance and fintech.

The program will include 8 terms, a total of 4 term of which each one term will contain 2 semesters. Students have core courses as a requirement in the first year while the majority of electives and other specialization course are in their second year. The pedagogy is based on the application of both theory and practice. It includes case studies, projects, simulations, and a real-life exposure through internships to banks, NBFCs, brokerage firms, equity research firms and other financial services companies. MBA Finance Admission Process

1. Apply for the management entrance exams such as CAT/GMAT/XAT depending upon the colleges which you would like to get a chance to study at. On the contrary, target relatively high scores for better odds of an admission.

Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Finance) Eligibility

1. An LLB Degree in relative subject from a reputed college with greater than 50% aggregate marks. Some colleges even at the minimum may require mathematics at the Higher Secondary level. In some cases, the student may go to school and college accepting that it is necessary to take mathematics at the undergraduate level.

2. If the student has a good score in online exams like CAT/MAT/XAT or GMAT as qualifier exam for giving the best B-schools entrance. 

3. Knowledge and experience gained during 1-5 years or so in other cases especially for executive MBA students will be an added advantage. What is more, a number of schools accept students just after their graduation. Not always relevant work experience is the preferred qualification by the top colleges.
