The MBA Banking and Finance is a 2-year full-time management program placing emphasis on giving the know-how and techniques for banking, financial markets, financial institutions, financial services, regulative frameworks and many others. The eligible criteria including a graduation degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks is required from any discipline. 

The curriculum have the basic subjects like Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Communication, Organizational Behavior, and Marketing etc. A finance course curriculum, exemplified by the Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Security Analysis, Treasury Management, International Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking Regulations, Financial Derivatives, and Microfinance in particular.

MBA Banking and Finance Admission Process

1. Appear in particular aptitude evaluation like CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT by keeping the instructions of colleges in mind. 

2. Narrow down the colleges, which accepted your test scores and give MBA Banking & Finance specialization field of study as your choice of major.

3. Use an online calendar, and ensure meeting this all requirements like work experience, educational scores, etc.  

4. Apply for the group discussion, and the personal interview (PI) rounds which colleges conduct.  

5. To make sure, your provisional admission status is converted to confirmed one as per your marks in written test, GDs and interviews.

MBA Banking and Finance Eligibility

1. A university degree in any discipline which is recognized to have a minimum of 50% aggregate. 

2. As chosen by the students between CAT/ MAT/XAT or GMAT in accordance with the colleges' requirements. Besides, a few may have a cut-off for CMAAT, AT MAT or any state level entrance test.

3. Work experience is hardly of any consideration for the vast majority of colleges, but few top B-schools may suppose a minimum of 2 years of work in the relevant field. 

4. Students can apply to most college without any age restriction. Institutes may impose an age limit for them to taking part in the application process which could be up to the age of 25-28 years. 

5. Effectual communication skills and the ability to think critically are some of the things that are required for an applicants to even be considered for the most prestigious MBA banking and finance programs. Some colleges may have their students go through one on one interviews and/or group discussions in addition to the scores attained in the entrance test.

6. Students of the upper grade (final year bachelor’s) may also apply but they will only get the provisional admission and again when the result of their final exams is declared they will be evaluated for meeting the criteria.

7. A certain leniency regarding cut-off scores can be afforded to candidates from backward classes by complying with the statutory norms of the government.

8. Such candidates may need to fulfill the criteria laid down by the university or institute, other than the one stipulated in the description.

MBA Banking and Finance Entrance Exams

GMAT: The Graduate Management Admission Test measures writing ability, quantitative, verbal and integrated reasoning skills. Mostly suggested for MBA programs, such as banking and finance, it tests the readiness to pursue a postgraduate business degree.

GRE: The Graduate Record Examination is used for measuring the verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing skills. Certain MBA programs admit GRE scores for GMAT as admission into finance and banking specializations.

TOEFL: The Test of English as a Foreign Language assesses the English-language level of non-native speakers. International candidates being there for MBA programs of banking and finance; it takes care of language skills required for academic success.

IELTS: The International English Language Testing System is the tool used to assess non-native speakers' English language proficiency. Like TOEFL, IELTS exam is one of the requirements for international applicants to MBA programs and it is used to determine whether the applicant possess the language skills necessary for coursework and communication in banking and finance.
