The Labour Diploma is a course comprising 6 months’ to 1 year’s duration and aims to make the students acquainted with the Indian Labour laws and the relational laws in place between the employers and the employees. The curriculum touched upon the principal issues as Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Workmen's Compensation Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Trade Unions Act, etc. 

The students will get to know about the issues like types of contract agreement in the employment, worker's rights and obligations, organized labour, collective bargaining, dispute settlement, and redress of grievance. The course comprises of study of judicial cases and subject matter experts in according the lectures. Students are installed with the in-depth knowledge about labour codes and are shown how to use it on practical cases.

Diploma in Labour Law Admission Process

1. Complete a baccalaureate degree. More programs now accept even those whose university stream is not the same for the diploma application. There is both for and against and this is reflected in the fact that some voters base their support on work experience while the others do not. 

2. Find those college and universities which provide such diploma program. Some fine institutions include National and State Law Universities, Private Colleges, and Deemed Universities.

3. Also, check the eligibility criterion of the institutions, which usually are related to educational qualification, percentage, and exams. Additionally, the dates when the applications should be submitted will be considered.

4. Make sure your application and its appendices come with copies of degrees/certificates, ID proofs, recommendation letters and so on. Also note that there are institutes that hold personal interviews before offering admission. 

5. Enough, get the award notification from the university. Students should have all their application documents ready once all the requirements are met and the documents should be submitted within the specified deadlines. Follow orientation programs before going to class.

Diploma in Labour Law Eligibility

1) Educational Qualification: Apart from being a Grade 12 or equivalent completion certificate holder from a recognized body, being able to follow a vocational course in labour law also requires you to meet certain conditions. 

2) Minimum Percentage: In most cases, the minimum percentage, which varies between organizations but is commonly 50%, is the one stipulated. Some of them government overlook this criteria for the general candidates.

3) Age Limit: The main requirement for joining such courses is also usually age, no matter whether you are 30 or 65. But a some institutes might put an upper age restrictions ranging from 30 to 35 years. 

4) Admission Process: The admission process usually starts with filling out an application form as well as the interview round or entrance test at the said educational institution. 

5) Fees: The yearly tuition fees for a diploma in labour law may amount from INR 10,000 to 50,000 per year depending on which college is located and what facilities it has. For Category students, the concessions may be available.
