The Labour Diploma is a course comprising 6 months’ to 1 year’s duration and aims to make the students acquainted with the Indian Labour laws and the relational laws in place between the employers and the employees. The curriculum touched upon the principal issues as Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Workmen's Compensation Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Trade Unions Act, etc.
The students will get to know about the issues like types of contract agreement in the employment, worker's rights and obligations, organized labour, collective bargaining, dispute settlement, and redress of grievance. 1. Complete a baccalaureate degree. More programs now accept even those whose university stream is not the same for the diploma application. There is both for and against and this is reflected in the fact that some voters base their support on work experience while the others do not.
